Flavio Coppola, Associate

FlavioFlavio Coppola focuses on assessing the economic impact of housing and transportation projects, and on elaborating data-driven local economic development strategies for cities and regions.

Before joining Strategic Economics, Mr. Coppola helped design local economic development strategies in France, conducted urban planning research in London, and worked in transportation planning in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Leveraging the experience he acquired overseas, Mr. Coppola worked in urban planning and environmental policy in the Bay Area, consolidating his knowledge of local urban systems.

Mr. Coppola holds a Master’s degree in Regional and Urban Planning from Sciences Po Paris and a Master of Science in Local Economic Development from the London School of Economics and Political Science. Previous to his graduate studies, he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Sciences Po Paris.
